SASKATCHEWAN SHOW GUIDE

Welcome to Prince Albert and the Saskatchewan Forestry Expo.

Prince Albert would like to welcome you to the second Saskatchewan Forestry Expo, being held August 8 to 10 at the city's Exhibition Grounds. The show will spotlight Saskatchewan's fast-growing forest industry. The dynamic nature of the industry is best illustrated by the recent announcement of a new $200 million OSB mill, to be built near Meadow Lake, northwest of Prince Albert.

More than ever before, the forest industry is playing a significant role in the economic development of the province. And there are still huge opportunities, both in terms of developing agricultural lands with agroforestry and in building the industry further with added-value manufacturing.

The show will feature solid information about equipment and forestry management, and will also have a strong focus on education. Saskatchewan Forestry Expo will include displays from the major forest companies operating in Saskatchewan, such as Weyerhaeuser, as well as the equipment dealers and suppliers who support the important logging and sawmill sectors of the industry. Inside this Official Show Guide, you'll find everything you need to know about the show, from the schedule of events right through to the exhibitor list. See you at the show.
