Potlatch Appoints Moody
Potlatch Corporation announced its appointment of John Moody as Lead Independent Director on the Potlatch board of directors. Moody succeeds Dr. William T. Weyerhaeuser, who resigned from the Potlatch board in December 2008 to join the Clearwater Paper Corporation board -- the spin-off of Clearwater Paper from Potlatch.
Moody, age 60, has been a member of the Potlatch board since 2006. He is the president of Proterra Management, LLC. He is also a board member for Huron Consulting Group, Inc.
"John Moody is a strong leader with extensive executive experience in the REIT sector. He will serve the company and shareholders well in his new role," said Michael J. Covey, chairman, president, and CEO of Potlatch.
Collins Names Paldino VP
Random Lengths reported that Collins Companies, operating out of Portland, Ore., named Kevin Paldino as its vice president of sales and marketing. Paldino was formerly the director of sales and marketing with The Pacific Lumber Co.
Culligan Named Business Development Analyst for Peterson
Kevin Culligan joined Peterson Machinery Co., as its new Business Development Analyst.
More than 30 years ago, Culligan began his Caterpillar dealership career at Halton Co., based out of Portland. He has held positions as Product Support Sales Representative, Machine Sales Rep, Parts & Service Sales Manager, and Sales Manager. In 2000, he was promoted to General Sales Manager at the dealership.

Clevenger Becomes V.P. at Papé
Tim Clevenger has been named Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management for The Papé Group Inc.

"Tim's new role will ensure we stay competitive with our brand and leverage it to grow our business."

PacLease Continues Record Growth
PACCAR Leasing Company (PacLease) continues its rapid expansion with the announcement of 13 new locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Volvo Rents Opens in Elroy, Arizona
Jeff Bleecker and Lance Evic, local owners of Arizona Equipment Rental 1, LLC, announce the opening of their fourth construction equipment rental store. Volvo Rents-Eloy serves the Pinal County, Arizona market.
"We are very pleased with our business model and the economic success we have been able to achieve as a big player in our market," Lance Evic stated. Now with four stores and a fifth in the works, Volvo Rents is the biggest player in the market.
NAHB Grants first "Green Approved" Seal
The NAHB Research Center introduced its "Green Approved" product seal of approval. It's first certificate under the new designation recognized structural frame products from iLevel by Weyerhaeuser.
The "Green Approved" mark is intended to provide third-party evidence that building products meet specific scoring criteria for homes seeking certification to the National Green Building Standard™ (the Standard), a consensus-developed standard that was recently approved by ANSI.
